Pilot projects

Why choose a pilot project?

A meeting and a demonstration of Atlassian tools would not necessarily be enough to make the right decision. Sometimes you need to see and work with a solution based on your specific business needs to get to a conclusion. In this coincidence, a pilot project could be the right solution for you.

Pilot projects are based on the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) mindset, where we jointly agree on which minimum requirements must be met for a solution to be used by you. Afterwards, we set up the solution in only five days. As a result, with few risks, your organization will receive feedback quickly on whether Jira, Confluence, or Bitbucket is the right solution for you.

We are offering pilot projects within the following solution areas:

Example of a pilot project:

ITSM-solution in 5 days based on Jira Service Management

Day 1: Determining the MVP & configuring the requests catalog

We begin with a workshop to derive the overall requirements, after which we will continue to define the needs for the customer-facing portal (request catalog). Afterward, it will be implemented in Jira Service Management.

Finally, we will go through the implemented functionality together.

Day 2: Configuring the backend and SLA

We repeat the same process with a workshop to derive requirements from day one. Next, one of aety’s consultants will configure the backend, including queues and service level agreements.

The processes are then implemented in Jira Service Management.

Again, the day ends by going through the implemented functionality together.

Day 3: Knowledge base / Confluence integration

We continue with the same procedure, holding a workshop to derive requirements for your knowledge base.

We integrate Jira and Confluence and set up the structure of the knowledge base.

The day ends with us going through the implemented functionality together.

Day 4: Reporting and Dashboards

We continue with the same procedure, holding a workshop to derive requirements for reporting and dashboards.

Reporting is implemented in Jira Service Management.

The day ends with us going through the implemented functionality together.

Day 5: My changes and documentations

Workshops, where we go through the solution and collect feedback capture.

Feedback is incorporated into the solution.

Together, we will go through the solution and hand over permissions and documentation.

It is not a requirement, that you should be present all day, every 5 days. In this way, the consultants will have time to work, and you can concentrate on your daily tasks. Of course, you are always welcome to visit the work area.

After the pilot project

After day 5, we will agree on a potential follow-up, and we can help develop the solution further, as well as provide subsequent support. We can also assist with education and training in using the tool for your employees so you are fully prepared to work with the solution.
